Meaning: Device as a Service (DaaS) is the bundling and offering of: Management services [procurement, configuration, asset management, guaranteed 24 hour device replacement], global logistics [delivery to user globally] + IT equipment [hardware] — like PCs, tablets and mobile devices, supported by peripheral products [privacy screens, mice, keyboards, monitors] - in a paid subscription.
This is an alternative to purchasing these devices individually
Purpose: To get the right device into the hands of the right user at the right time with maximum uptime to enable delivery in a sustainable approach and life cycle.
